AmeriHealth Caritas District of Columbia (DC) provides its members with access to quality health care and outstanding member services. Thousands of people a year are served — 1 person at a time — and opportunities for people to experience health and wellness are created. 

L. S. Caldwell & Associates, Inc. (LSC) is charged with the responsibility of working with UnitedHealthcare to ensure their utilization of District of Columbia Certified Businesses is captured and accurately reported to the Department of Small and Local Business Development (DSLBD).  In addition, create and implement outreach strategies to attract potential healthcare providers interested and qualified in becoming CBE certified and work with UnitedHealthcare.

L. S. Caldwell & Associates, Inc. has been tasked with oversight review of:

  • Reviewing UnitedHealthcare spend data reports to create and submit quarterly Vendor Verification Forms and DSLBD Quarterly Repots 
  • Responsible for updating and/or amending as needed, UHC’s Quarterly Subcontracting Plan. 
  • Providing LSC’s proprietary online Compliance Online Reporting System (CÔR) that tracks, monitors and reports CBE spending, including an explanation of goals, local policies, and reporting requirements, including completion of required forms. 
  • Assists potential CBE Contractors with the completion of the CBE Certification Application and submission to Department of Small and Local Business Development (DSLBD).
